FIDO (Field Investigation Drug Officer) Class (Limited to 15 individuals)

This eight (8) hour course will provide the
student with the ability to presumptively identify three drugs: methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin. Each participant
will be provided with training and a UNIT (Utah Narcotics Identification Test) kit and shown how to correctly interpret chemical
testing, perform quality control, take adequate notes and write reports. This training is designed to give the officer
the ability to testify in preliminary hearing and help streamline the analysis of controlled substances for their agency.
