Presidents Message
Cordell Pearson
It is a great honor to be your President for the
upcoming year. I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you.
I have been involved in police work since 1968. I retired
from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 1990. While at Metro, I worked undercover for 19 years.
I moved back home to Piute County where I was elected Sheriff for two terms. I was offered the job
as Commander of the Central Utah Narcotics Task Force. I served nine years as Commander. The
task force covered Piute, Sevier, Wayne, Millard and Sanpete Counties. I am currently working part time
for Piute County Sheriff’s office. I have been a member of UNOA since 1997 and a board member since
2004.
I would like to thank all of
you who gave me this opportunity to serve this great organization . I will do my best to continue to bring
training to our conference and to our perspective regions.
As you know, we just had our 18th Annual Conference. The training was great.
President Guy Gustman should be commended for a great conference and a good job. (Well done Guy)
This was the largest attended conference so far. Thanks to all the board members for all the work
you do. Without you, and our members there would be no association.
I would like to thank all of our instructors, vendors, and businesses for
their donations to our conference.
Again,
thank you for all for allowing me to the privilege of being President of the finest association in the State.
Please feel free to contact me or any board member if you have questions, need help or training.
Cordell Pearson.
